This individual was among social media users who commented that Mercy Chinwo’s son bears a resemblance to Minister Nathaniel Bassey.
Following this remark, Nathaniel Bassey initiated legal proceedings and urged law enforcement to apprehend those involved.
While some individuals have expressed regret for their comments, this particular individual asserts that he did not engage in any criminal behavior warranting an apology.
He clarifies that he merely shared an opinion, which he contends is shared by millions of Nigerians.
The individual states that he did not advocate for a DNA test, unlike some others, but merely observed a similarity between the baby’s appearance and Nathaniel Bassey’s.
Furthermore, he emphasizes that he was not the individual who initially posted the images online but, like many other social media users, offered his perspective on the matter.
Despite expressions of regret from some parties, this individual maintains that he has not committed any offense warranting an apology.
